教材分析:本模块以暑假英语学习班为话题,要求学生能够听懂、读懂并描述这样的学习班。本单元是读写课,学生通过就暑假课程班的话题展开讨论,在学习掌握重点字词的基础上,学会并能正确运用并列复合句,同时能谈论各种语言学习班,描述课程情况和活动经历。
学情分析:本单元的生词虽然不多,但都较生僻,而且文章篇幅大,且句子较长,学生理解起来有一点的难度,好在本单元的话题能够引起同学们的学习兴趣。 根据以上分析我的教学设计如下: 一、教学目标: 1、 语言知识目标
通过读写课文,能够认读并正确运用重点词汇,获取有关英语学习班的文章信息。 2、 语言技能目标
运用skimming,scanning,guessing等阅读技巧进行阅读,从文章中找出有关信息,理解大意;同时学习并能正确运用并列复合句。 3、情感态度目标
通过了解LA暑假英文培训班的相关信息,激起学生“走出去”的愿望,提高学习英语的兴趣,并拓展学生视野,实现情感体验和得到文化熏陶。 二、重点与难点: 1、 教学重点
认读并掌握文中的话题词汇,获取English course的细节信息。同时,经过各种阅读技巧的运用,反复阅读课文,达到掌握并能独立创作出各种学习班的文章的输出目标,同时也提高灵活运用各种阅读技巧的能力。 2、 教学难点:
本文篇幅大,句子长,生词偏,学生阅读存在很大挑战,这在很大程度上会影响学生的阅读效果。 三、教学过程

【设计意图】通过唱英语歌曲,消除同学们的紧张情绪, 激发同学们学习英语的兴趣和学好英语的愿望,从而自然过渡English courses的学习。 2、Lead-in 播放LA的视频& Free talk
