The text is based on the results of questionnaire survey and interviews with young people, who were asked to express their views on health. Read parts of the text again in order to identify

some important results of the research. These results are mostly expressed as approximate percentages. Write the percentages in the right-hand column of the table below. Percentages

are not available for all of the items in the left-hand column. For these items leave the right-hand column empty.

Some respondents use weight-control products or enrol in weight-control programmes and about half this number (16%) heard about weight-control products from advertisements. Most of the respondents (88%) believe that weight-control products are safe. About 25% of respondents work out regularly but 14% never work out. About 21% of respondents take vitamin supplements, while 15% smoke regularly or occasionally.

Extending your vocabulary Words in context
