短路是电力系统的严重故障。短路冲击电流、短路电流的最大有效值、短路容量是校验电气设备的重要数据。

对于简单的电力系统,可以采用网络变换与化简计算短路电流。计算时,首先作出整个系统的等值电路,然后进行网络变换与化简,将网络化简成只保留电源节点和短路点。要求短路电流,最关键的是根据网络化简求出电源点对短路点的转移阻抗或输入阻抗。
