2. 仪表索引模块 （INSTRUMENT INDEX）
打开SPI如图，若没有出现左边的Domain Explorer，在主菜单Tools>Domain Explorer中打开。
以151-F-100这个回路为例，定义仪表类型，创建仪表回路，仪表位号。
2.1 定义仪表类型（Instrument Type）
Tables>Instrument Type
新建一个仪表类型FE
同样的，定义FT，FV，FY。如下表 Process Function Instrument Type Flow FE Flow FT General FY Control Valve FV

2.2 现场装置的参考接线预定义（Define Reference Wiring for a Field Device）
Tools>Reference Explorer>Panels>Device Panel>右键New> Device Panel（Conventional）
完成属性的填写之后变为
右击REF FIELD DEVICE 2 WIRE>New>Terminal Strip，打开Terminal Strip configuration对话框>New，输入2作为模板中端子的数量>OK。
Save>Create，定义Terminal Strip的名字。
