However, young people in France, Italy and Turkey had a pessimistic outlook on the future. “At present, most people pay more attention to the differences between people, the fact shows that young people share much similar ideas of the world.” Pota, the CEO of the Varkey Foundation, told The Guardian(卫报).

As for young people in China, what they fear most is the environmental problems―some 82% of those who were surveyed said so. Pota said it was encouraging that young people in China were realized how serious the environmental problems are.

The final survey showed a sense of optimism in the attitudes and opinions of the generation that is likely to shape the next tens of years, according to Pota.
