Focus On Grammar 语法

1. Today we are taking up a new grammar point. 今天我们要将新的语法要点。 2. This is a proper noun. Notice that the first letter must be capitalized. 这是专有名词,注意第一个字母要大写。

3. Give the plural form of this noun. 说出这个名词的复数形式。 4. What part of speech is this word? 这个单词属于什么词类? 5. This is a material noun. No article is needed. 这是个物质名词,不必用冠词。

6. This is an abstract noun, but it is used as a common noun here. 这是个抽象名词,在这里用着普通名词。

7. This noun is used in a general sense, so it must be preceded by the indefinite article “a”. 这是名词是泛指,因此,前面必须加上不定冠词“a”。

8. Is the article in this sentence used correctly? 这个句中的冠词用的对吗?
