Unit 3 Care for the Earth!

单元总目标：

本单元教学共分为4课时。话题围绕环境保护展开，通过我们日常生活中的一些行为和现象，告诉学生那些是应该做的，那些事不应该做的。本单元的学习重点是借助句型：We should?We

shouldn’t?Why not??等提出劝告和建议，通过本单元的学习教育学生要为保护环境做一些力所能及的事，从而提高学生环境保护的意识。

本单元的教学设计共分为四个课时。第一课时以Part A中的Let’s learn 部分中的词汇教学为主，通过学习pick flowers, cut down trees, make the air dirty, waste water, drive a car, the earth等有关破坏环境的短语，引出本单元的教育主题：第二课时以Part A中的Let’s talk部分中的会话为主要内容，在会话教学中学习运用情态动词should表示建议和劝告，例如，We should ?

We shouldn’t?: 第三课时以Part B中的Let’s learn more 部分中的阅读教学为主，在阅读中培养学生寻找快速阅读能力：第四课时在综合复习本单元重难点的基础上，通过活动检测学生的学习效果，具体课时分配情况见下表：
