Distribution Center grouping of stores for better organized shipping. Normally, there are nine to eleven stores in a batch. Each Distribution Center has 20 assigned batch. Each Distribution Center has 20 assigned batch numbers available for the stores they service and 20 extra batch numbers for the new stores, odd stores, etc.

A warehouse shipment/carton which contains more than one item or items from more than one department, each with a different prices.

These claims are processed in the Distribution Center Store claims area in the billing department.

merchandise in Apparel. Breakdown is as follows： 1st two digits = Department number
2nd two digits = Subclass Number Final 5 digits = Item Number

Merchandise authorized for return to a Vendor for various reasons, such as overstock, mislabeled, etc.

A form used to record all incoming shipments at store level. Information includes date received, who received it, the Carrier, number of cartons, vendor, department, and Purchase Order number.

The process of moving Staple Stock merchandise from reserve racks or locations to prime picking slots.

Storage rack in the Distribution Center used to store staple stock merchandise until the computer replenishes to the pulling slot.

RETAIL 零售价
The selling price of merchandise in the stores. 商场里商品的售价。
RETURNS 退货
Undamaged merchandise that is returned to the store at the Courtesy Desk. This merchandise is test scanned to verify correct pricing and returned to the sales floor or claims area.

RETURN FROM STOCK DC退货
Staple Stock merchandise that is being returned to the Vendor per instructions form the group managers. This merchandise is already in the inventory and the on-hand is adjusted on a “Return from stock adjustment”. Usually returned due to deleted or canceled items, etc.
