As is shown in the caricature, two men are painting on the canvas. They are looking out of the same window, but one of them has drawn nothing but the bars which block his view, while the other has painted the beautiful scenery in the distance. ︳The message conveyed here is clear: “What you see depends on the way you look at the world.” Positive thinking leads to positive action and reaction. In order to experience more happiness, we may need to change our way of thinking. ︳At the start of Senior Three, I woke up every morning feeling depressed, thinking of the much schoolwork to do. My friend Lee came to me and made me realize the best part about schooling—time spent together with classmates fighting for dreams. Ever since then I have learnt to look at my daily life from a different angle and cherish what I have. Change the way we view the world, and we’ll change our life.
