完型填空

完型填空(CLOZE)是使用非常广泛的英语测试题型。许多大规模英语考试,如高考英语(NMT),全国各类成人高校专升本入学英语考试,全国大学英语四级考试(CET4),高校英语专业四八级考试(TEM-4/8),攻读硕士学位研究生入学英语考试(NETEM),在职人员以毕业研究生同等学力申请硕士学位英语课程全国统一考试,出国英语水平考试(EPT),全国职称英语等级考试等,都少不了完型填空的身影。

四六级考试中,完型填空和改错是综合部分二选一题型;然而,根据实践,四级考试好像更倾心于完型填空——自从新题型之后,还没考过一次改错,靠的全是完型填空。

【考点重点】

《大学英语四级考试大纲》规定,该部分“要求考生在全面理解文章内容的基础上,选择一个最佳答案,使短文的意思和结构恢复完整。填空的词项包括结构词和实义词。完形填空部分的目的是测试学生综合运用语言的能力”。因此考点很明确:词汇运用;语法概念;篇章结构理解。

题型大致分为4类: 1.词汇辨义题; 形近/近义 2.同现搭配题; 3.语法结构题; 4.逻辑推理题。

随着新四六级取消了“词汇与结构”题型,Cloze部分加大了对词汇和搭配的测试比重,最近一次考试达到85-90%,而语法结构和逻辑推理逐渐淡出,两项合计仅占10-15%。因此我们重点关注词汇辨义和同现搭配。
