第二节 书面表达 Dear Mike,

I’m sorry to know that you feel confused about making friends on line at your new class.

I have ever read a story , which made me greatly shocked. Such a kind-hearted girl was cheated and laughed at by the cheat. She wanted to help the boy,but what the boy said was a trap. In my opinion, making friends on line is a good way to communicate with people from all over the world. However, every coin has two sides. When people try to make friends on line, they have to be very careful and cautious. Before meeting an on-line friend, they have to ensure that all the information concerning him or her is true.

To solve the problems concerning making friends on line, I think, the government should take strong measures to punish those who cheat people on line. As for those Internet users, they should be cautious when making friends on line.

I hope you can adapt to the new school life as soon as possible Best regards,

Yours truly, Zhang Hua

W: Let me show you some things in the sky. Now the telescope is pointed directly at the North

M: It looked like a normal black bear. It showed me its teeth and then walked away.

Text 10

Kids have lots of energy, so sitting in a chair in a classroom all day is really unnatural. One school just made it easier for kids to get healthier while they learn. Ashanti Branch, the assistant principal at Montera Middle School in Oakland, California, gave a radio interview describing how hard it is for boys in school to sit still. The school also happened to be in need of furniture; they didn't have enough chairs or desks for all their students. For some reason, that interview received a lot of attention. A company called Ergotron, which manufactures “standing desks” that require users to stand up while using them, generously donated some to the school. This match-up couldn't have been better. At first, the kids didn't use the standing desks because they preferred to sit. It was something they had always done in a certain way. The teachers offered them the choice to sit or stand, and now, the kids have adjusted to the new system. Perhaps this will make the kids become more active in sports and at home.
