本句使用的是现在进行时。它表示现在正在发生或进行的动作,由助动词be(is,am,are)+词 的现在分词(v-ing)构成。动词现在分词规则变化如下: 1)直接在词尾加ing .如:play -ing ,clean- ing 等

2)以不发音字母e结尾的,去掉e再加ing.如:write- ing ,dance-ing 等。 3)以一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节的词,双写辅音字母,再加ing。 如:swim-m-ingshop-p-ing。

borrow意为“主语(人)向某人借东西”习惯上用borrow sth from sb或borrow one’s sth 如I often borrow books from the library.我经常从图书馆借书。 May I borrow your pen?我可以借一下你的钢笔吗? 拓展:1)lend意为“借出”表示主语把东西借给别人。习惯上用lend sth to sb或lend sb sth.如:My friend often lends me some books.= My friend often lends some books to me. 2)keep 意为“借”表示借某物多久。习惯上用“keep sth for +时间段”如:We can keep the book for two weeks.我们能够借这本书两周。How long can I keep them?Two weeks.我能借它们多久?两周。(borrow和lend为短暂性动词,keep为延续性动词) 2.The girl looks for the books on the shelves.这个女孩在书架上找书。

Look for 意为“寻找”强调寻找的动作和过程;find意为“找到”,强调找的结果。即find是look for的结果而look for是find之前的过程。如:I look for my pen everywhere and find it on the desk.

1)return意为“归还”,及物动词,相当于give back.

如:I have to return /give back the book to the library.我得归还这本书给图书馆。 拓展:return意为“返回,回来”时是不及物动词,相当于come back/return to +地 点,表示回到…地方。

2)on time 意为“按时,准时”常指火车、飞机等准点到达,强调不早不晚,而in time 意为“及时”,强调在规定时间之前,以不迟到为标准。 4.What’s in it?里面有什么?

句型“What’s 介词短语?”常用来询问某处有什么。答语常用There be句型。如: What’s in the box?箱子里有什么?

5.Here is a wallet,but isn’t yours.这里有一个钱包,但是它不是你的。

Here is a wallet.是倒装句。英语中here,there等位于句首时,习惯上用倒装句,即谓语动词放在主语之前。

Here comes the bus.公共汽车来了。There goes the bell.铃响了。

拓展:如果句子的主语是代词是,则主谓不到装。如:Here you are.给你。

(1)around表示“在…周围,围绕”,再如,围着桌子坐sit around the table.

(2) around 在句中作副词时,意为”在周围,在附近;大约“。表示大约时相当于about. 2. A few students are running around the playground.有几个学生正围着操场跑 表示肯定

(1)a few (少数的,几个,一些) 修饰可数名词 a little (一点儿,少量) 修饰不可数名词, 表示否定

(2)few (很少的,几乎没有的) 修饰可数名词 little (很少的,几乎没有的) 修饰不可数名词

(1) talk“交谈”,表示通过谈话方式交换意见、消息等。 (2) speak“说话”,强调开口发声,后常接某种语言。 (3) say “说”,强调所说的话的内容。

(4) tell“告诉”,有时兼含“嘱咐”“命令”等。tell a truth说真话,tell a lie说谎, tell a story 讲故事等固定搭配。

现在进行时

语法讲解 1.现在进行时表示:

(1) 现在进行时表示正在发生或进行的动作。 e.g I’m reading a book now.

(2) 现在进行时表示当前一段时间内一直进行的动作e.g They’re working on a farm this week.

(3) 某些行为动词的现在进行时形式可以表示将来,常常有意图,安排或打算的含义,并且可与表将来的时间状语连用,到目前我们所学的这类动词有come, go, fly, return e.g They are flying to London this afternoon.

We are going to Hong Kong tomorrow. Steve is coming tomorrow evening. 2.常用的时间状语:now, at the moment, look, listen等。 3.动词的-ing形式构成: 一般在动词末尾加-ing 以不发音字母e结尾的单词,去e加-ing 以一个元音字母加一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节的动词,要双写末尾辅音字母,再加-ing 以ie结尾的词,变ie为y,再加-ing buy---buying call----calling drink----drinking come---coming drive---driving give-----giving plan----planning swim----swimming stop---stopping sit---sitting die----dying lie----lying
