摘要

情与礼是人性的重要组成部分,它们互为补充、相互依存,同时又矛盾重重。不同的社会状态之下,情与礼呈现出不同的状态,这一内容又集中体现在文学作品之中。《西厢记》与《牡丹亭》是中国古典戏剧的典范,虽同为爱情主题,却由于产生于不同时代,在情礼关系上呈现出不同的状态。《西厢记》产生于元代,是汉族文化极度低迷的产物,表现出情的张扬和礼的崩塌;《牡丹亭》创作于理学控制的明代,真实地反映了礼对情的禁锢。剧中作者对欲、情的肯定,则又与明中叶思想解放运动密切相关。

ABSTRACT

Affection and etiquette are a very important part in humanity. They depend each other, but they are also full of contradiction. Affection and etiquette present different states under different social conditions showed in different literature works. “The Romance of West Chamber” and “The peony Pavilion” are Chinese classical representative plays. Both the two works described love, but their stories happened in different times, presenting different affection and etiquette. “The Romance of West Chamber” wrote in yuan dynasty, a result in low han literature, showing widely known affection and crumbing etiquette, while “The peony Pavilion” created in idealist philosophy controlled society, truly reflecting forbidden affection and etiquette, in which the writer praised the emotional desire connected with thoughtful liberation in middle Ming dynasty.
