At about 1115hrs on 23rd May 2003, my vessel was lying properly alongside NO.3 berth, XINGGANG GUANGZHOU , the MV B, CHINESE flag, port of registry GUANGZHOU ,which was shifting from her berth, drifting and struck the port side of my vessel, causing damage to the bulwark, stanchions, etc. this accident was caused solely by careless manoeuvring on the part of MV B during strong NW wind without tug assistance.
